Actualized Space(s): site projection by Nicolas de Cosson
Thursday April 26 at dusk - 10pm

Actualized Space(s), de Cosson states, “..deals with the idea of the gallery space itself as one in constant transition, or transformation; one that rotates throughout the year. The projection also deals with the membrane as the source that holds the projection along with interactive elements; it is a virtual space actualized in a physical space. It is real, yet it is virtual - it is virtual, yet it is real.”

At the core, de Cosson is experimenting with new systems of coded experiences, ones that explore the idea of self, surface, the interface and how we can become more human through new forms of interactions. He holds a BFA from the University of Lethbridge, AB and he is presently enrolled in the Masters of Fine Arts program at the University of Windsor, ON.
